Cintiq paint tool sai cursor alignment solved
Have you tried turning it off and on again? /slapped/ no but really, someone's had luck with restarting their computer (they were using paint tool sai v.2)
PLEASE NOTE:
This is specifically to do with wacom based tablets. Also, this journal is old, links are broken and may not be found again. My apologies.
I am not an professional in the ways of I.T or Cintiq problems. These are only the solutions I and other people have found, and they get pasted here.
if the solutions don't work for you, I'm sorry but I will not be able to help you with other things - I'm just not the expert in this. However, this journal occasionally gets updated with

Wacom Cintiq / SAI work-arounds and fixes
I've had to help a few people with weird quirks between SAI and Wacom Tablets. Specifically with Cintiqs. I figured it would be good to list a few of the weird quirks I've found and their work-arounds somewhere, so I'm going to paste them here.
I find the line smoothing features worth some of the weirdness SAI has, even if I have to pull it into Photoshop later to add text or change things. 'Drawing' in SAI is really, really fluid and natural. I can't NOT use it now.
I have a Cintiq 12WX (the smaller one) and a second monitor. I'm going to assume you have a second monitor as well. If not, just skip that section.
